Review: Audiojack – No Equal Sides EP – 20:20 Vision

Audiojack - 20:20 Vision

Artist: Audiojack
Title: No Equal Sides EP
Label: 20:20 Vision
Genre: Deep/Tech House

DJ/Producers, Audiojack, latest release ‘No Equal Sides’ is seriously for the underground music buffs out there. They’ve stood firmly on the sound that enhanced their reputation and kept a very keen eye on the dance-floor with an unforgiving emphasis on the quality as each of the songs on this EP are perfectly assembled and crafted.

First up is the ‘In Principle’ (Original Mix) which has a deep kicking bass line with an adventurously playful drum beat alongside astutely mixed samples and loops that switch up the tempo of the track to deceptively catchy and groovy cut indeed.

The title track on the EP, ‘No Equal Sides’ (Original Mix) sets a darker atmosphere, whilst also venturing deeper underground. The synths and breaks will make for a perfect beat for those after-hours sets.

Finally we have ‘Tunnel Vision’ (Original Mix), which is probably the most appealing of all the tracks on this EP. The lyrics give off a lighter, dance-floor enticing appeal to the track. It sticks onto to the deep dark script of the productions Audiojack.

Overall the EP is a well produced, quality package which will appeal to a most ardent Underground House sound.
